We kicked off Independence Day the last weekend of June. The Smythe Family host a party to celebrate our God and nation. We were blessed by attending. Even with the almost constant drizzle, it was great fun!
Their backyard is amazing.....a zip line, playground, icecream stand, beautiful gardens.....lots of fun!
There was a schedule of events including old fashioned games, a guest speaker, historical presentations, general store, pie contest, and dinner.
As you can imagine, the boys had a wonderful time, and BJ and I were blessed by the fellowship. :)
P.S. My blueberry pie took 2nd place in the berry category! Talk about exciting! :)
