Paisley Mae and Judson Lee

Finally....we got to breath on Miss Paisley Mae! (No sickness this visit.) She is a cutie. We are looking forward to watching these two grow up together. :)

The Freeman Five

Last Monday my sister and her family came to visit. We love spending time with the Freeman five. :)
These two are SILLY together. I don't know what it is...maybe the fact that they are only two weeks apart? It doesn't take long for them to get reacquainted and giggling.

Here we are enjoying dinner together....except for Uncle Isaac who picked out every diced tomato in my spaghetti casserole! :)

Uncle Ike wanted to try out my ergo. J.R. was the lucky guinea pig.

Happy Heart Day

Valentine's day was a busy day for our family this year. We attended Oly-Lacey COG's service since BJ was doing the wedding ceremony there for his co-worker that afternoon. A stop at our Safeway for donuts was a yummy heart day treat as well as motivation to get out the door on time!

Mr. and Mrs. Jamerson :) It was a very sweet and private wedding. They both gave their hearts to the Lord a few months back and are choosing to live for Him. Praise the Lord!

After the wedding, we had errands to run while in the "big city." We were glad to make it home in time for a visit from Aunt Carol and Aunt Linda. Aunt Carol and Lawrence were in town for the night and wanted to meet our little guy.

I finished the evening with a trip to buy a few groceries for the week. I was pretty tired but the thought of going with five boys on Monday sounded even more exhausting!

I hope you all had a happy Valentine's day with the ones you love.

Look what we've been up to...

Poofy pants are a common sight around our home during potty-training days. (They really enhance his physique!) J.R. is getting the hang of it....making his big brothers proud. We thought these pictures would come in handy for his wedding slide show someday. :)

A new cousin!

We finally got to meet our newest sweet little niece. The boys are excited to have a new cousin....even though it is another girl. :) They now have six girl cousins to one 1 boy cousin! We have been anticipating this arrival for a long time and are so happy for Joey and Alison. Jud is 3 months older than Lauren Claire and 3 weeks older than Paisley Mae....who I am still dying to hold. (We had flu going through our family during Amy and Isaac's visit out here. We all were so bummed.) It will be fun to watch Jud grow up with cousins his age. And I guess I will get my little girl fix from all my nieces. :)

Cedar Creek Grist Mill

A few weekends back we took the boys to the Cedar Creek Grist Mill near Woodland. This is an old grist mill (circa 1876) powered by water alone. It was fun and so interesting to see the wheat milled....lots of belts and pulleys turning.

Baby Jud was very sad for this little field trip. :)

The surroundings of the mill are beautiful, including an old wooden covered bridge.
After the volunteer millers demonstrate the process and answer your questions, you can take a bag full of freshly milled flour. That evening we used it to make pancakes....delicious!

Indoctrination

There is no escaping Southern Gospel around here. Judson will be a fan...whether he likes it or not! (BJ couldn't be any happier! :)
