Jesse or Jessie???

Jesse Michael is a lot of fun.  He looks like his mama and has his daddy's personality. Maybe it is good we didn't have a girl if she might look something like this! :) 

First date in a looong time

Thanks to the Hatches we went on a true date - with no children in tow.  Since July 5th, I think the only other one was the KPDQ pastor's brunch.  We are so thankful for friends who are willing to brave an evening with lots of little boys. :)

Catching some zzzzz's

So far Joshua and Josiah have shared a crib. They are excellent sleepers, thank goodness! Joshua prefers to sleep on his tummy while Josiah always grabs onto the bumper and snuggles.  It is so sweet to walk by their crib in the morning or after a nap and see their little smiling faces.

Often one will be awake and kicking his sleeping brother over and over again...but the brother sleeps on.

This is what you do when you can't find a teether or toy. They've got each other. :)

Of course it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt......

Joshua and Josiah's dedication

January 29th we dedicated our twins.  BJ and I felt truly blessed, loved, and supported by the family and dear friends who joined us for this special day. Pastor Ron Palmer read the charge, BJ's parents shared a song, and his dad gave the prayer of dedication. I know that a dedication is not ensuring our boys' salvation, but we as parents, family, and a congregation are making a commitment to raise these little guys for the Lord. A job that, at times, can seem overwhelming. Oh, Lord, give us wisdom and help us to be living examples of what we want our boys to be.

After the service I had lunch for our crew in the church fellowship hall. There is plenty of room and the gym is great for all the kiddos.

Jud really wanted to hold Liviya...and for a long time.  Below is where my sister had to start saying, "okay, I think she's done...oh you really like her, oh okay, hee hee." :)

Fun times.  Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so memorable.

Big boys' special music

Last Sunday my three big boys sang for the offeratory. BJ and I were so proud of them...and thrilled to hear them sing in three part harmony. 

BTW- this was during practice.  We don't just let Jud and Johnny run wild during service. :)
