Christmas Eve

Every year after the Christmas eve service we head home for taco soup and opening presents. Lots of hugs tonight. :)

People often comment that Christmas must be so exciting at our home, and it is.  Lots of excitement, energy, and wrapping paper.

You can't even see it, but one of my gifts from BJ was a barber's chair he bought off Craigslist.  :)  I have already used it once, and it sure beats a wooden stool, plus it spins really fast....a bonus if you ask the boys. :)

Such a fun, memory filled Christmas.  I am very thankful for our special blessings from the Lord. And so thankful for the gift of His son.

The boys were pretty excited when BJ set up our old swing set.  

I love watching the twins swing.  I can't believe how big they are getting.

starting young...

It is always amazing to me how fast little ones catch on to technology.  The bins love to grab the ipad any chance they get and start "tapping."  :)  Justin was having fun playing with them....and Jesse, of course, couldn't resist getting involved.  :)

Adventures

Air soft wars

With our new place came a few acres of Scotch Broom and an old condemned farmhouse ....perfect for an afternoon of air soft wars.  A couple of young men from our church asked to use our place and we were happy to let them have at it! It was fun to watch all the activity from my window.  Boys sure are different than girls, but they had a good time!  Our Scotch Broom is now gone, but we'd gladly let them play another round someday.  :)

They were so nice to let our oldest three and BJ use their equipment and join in the fun.  The boys, big and small, had a blast!

family movie night

These are nights our boys look forward to.  They especially like it when BJ and I sit with them and watch the movie, too.  I am guilty of always being too busy, but I am learning that my laundry will wait for me...it's not going anywhere.  :)

Movie night

Daddy is more fun than mommy.  He opens the hide-a-bed and pops popcorn for a movie night. :)  I was enjoying dinner out with my ladies' Bible study group.  I am seriously impressed with and thankful for a husband who can handle all seven boys so I can have a break. Love him.
