Mother's Day

My boys were so sweet to me for Mother's Day.  Jared pulled off another surprise this year that was extremely thoughtful.  I love his gifts of bouquets and special notes.

Jesse was kind to give me free labor and loves.  Unfortunately I let them expire before I could redeem them!  :)  Jesse said he'd extend the date.

I'm living the dream as mama to 7 wonderful boys!

Romantic Getaway

Any getaway is romantic when you leave 5 boys behind and bring only 2, right? :)  My sweet husband arranged for a 24 hour trip to the coast for my mother's day gift.  We had a lovely time...and the twins enjoyed getting so much attention.

This trip was a lot of work for my hubby who arranged four different sitters from our church to help.  We sure appreciate all the help our church family has given us.

These times are rare, but sooooo appreciated when they happen.

My happy mother's day....

Jared worked hard to have this nice breakfast ready for me. I was impressed when I came out of the shower to my "breakfast in bed." :) The note he wrote me was so sweet....and I felt undeserving of such kind words. It described so many ways I strive to be and yet fail. It was such an encouraging answer to prayer...and nice to see my Jar-bear believing in me.
