Camp Arnold

Aunt LaVisa and Uncle Steve hosted a cousins' camp this summer. What a blast!  Aunt LaVisa and her sisters are just amazing.  The crafts, activities, and food for our kiddos were awesome.

Grandma Carolla helped Judson paint the seat for his camping chair.

The twins had great fun on the nature hike collecting leaves for our t-shirts.

It was pretty remarkable to me that 18 of Grandma Carolla's 19 great Grandchildren were there.  Growing up so far away from my cousins, I know how special this is.

Thank you Uncle Steve and Aunt LaVisa for this fun and memorable day!

I finally finished these ornaments!  So, I am either a few months late....or really on top of it for next Christmas!!! I'll just pretend it is the latter. :)

A new experience

This year the Smythes decided to host a craft Bazaar and invited us to participate.  BJ is all about a family economy and would like our boys to take risks and strike new ventures; this time birdhouses. So to be a good example this meant that mommy had to take a risk and strike new ventures.  I knew Amy would love this opportunity as well, so I invited her to join in the fun.  It was nice to have her table next to mine....even if she did sell more than me. :)

Because of Black Friday Thursday shopping and then the bazaar on Saturday, Isaac and BJ played super Dads.  They were thrilled to serve their sweet wives in this way.  Next year they are giving us four days off.  JUST KIDDING!!! They were glad to have us back and next year there will be stricter parameters.  :)

Thanksgiving Preparations

We had fun preparing for Thanksgiving this year.  The boys loved making these place card candy holders and decorating the table for our meal.  It was a true delight to watch their creativity and excitement.
